Heritage Tours

We explore one of the most scenic and historic regions in South Africa with its rich and romantic blend of colonial, Xhosa and early missionary history. We visit places of significance in the nine dramatic 19th century Frontier Wars and symbols and sites of importance in South Africa's recent Liberation Struggle.

Join us as we visit the very "cradle of freedom" in South Africa on our liberation tours. Visit Freedom Square. Delve into the ANC archives with anti-apartheid campaigner Sadie Forman, from the very place where the British army once planed their battles in the adjoining hills.

Xhosa Culture Tours

We experience the ancient Xhosa culture with its rich tapestry of folklore and rituals; enjoy meeting and interacting with these warm, hospitable people and savor the best of the Eastern Cape's magnificent mountain regions and rolling plains to its dramatic, untamed and spectacular Wild Coast.

Wildlife and Rock art Tours

We visit a choice of malaria-free Eastern Cape game reserves and parks such as the famous Addo Elephant Park, a World Heritage Site; the Mountain Zebra National Park, which saved Burchell's Zebra from extinction. We also visit other lesser known but equally interesting game reserves in a variety of habitats, some of which are the preserve of mysterious San Rock Art of ancient times.

Hiking Tours

We admire the sweeping spectacle of nature's bounty in the best possible way by walking our more spectacular trails such as The Amatola Trail, ranked by many as South Africa's top hiking trail. For the less energetic there's a choice of easier but just as interesting and adventurous trails to enjoy.
